Learning Centres
We provide personalized individual programming for over 100 children in three communities in Guatemala (Poza de Agua, Chiquimulilla and Guazacapán). Our teachers strengthen children's education according to their needs. They work with children who have ADHD, autism, speech problems and other special education needs.
Preschool Program
The preschool is for community children ages 3-5. It helps prepare these children for school with a hands-on, interactive, kinesthetic teaching approach. The children learn through many mediums: Dance, art, sports, language (Spanish and English) and play.
Neurological Program
This program helps children and their families with neurological needs, such as: Consultation and Diagnosis from a Neurologist, assistance with medication and vitamins and ongoing support and guidance through our learning centres, psychologists and teachers.
Sewing and Design and Bakery Cooperatives
In our Sewing Cooperative, women are trained in the sewing trade while receiving life coaching, business management and sales. Our Bakery Cooperative men, women and youth are trained in baking to provide a trade to support their families.
Dance School
Women are trained to teach a variety of styles of dance in order to hold their own classes for children and youth in the surrounding area.
Seminars
We hold seminars and training workshops for teachers, psychologists, parents and the community at large. (i.e. ADHD training for teachers, parenting classes, Heroes.)
